Firstly, the Beautiful voluptuous African woman, who has a warm smile, amazing hosting skills, and incredible service.  Yolanda our waitress, welcomed us and with such enthusiasm shared what we were in for!

Honestly, every single staff member of this restaurant was decked out in full African regalia, complete with face painting and, of course, infectious grins! Moreover, everything is taken care of for you, and you are made to feel welcome and wanted.

The rich African artifacts and brilliant colours adorn the warm and inviting décor.  Creating the perfect setting for an amazing evening.  Live African music adds to the energetic ambiance, drawing you into the rich cultural tapestry of the continent.

During your African 14-course meal you are joined by animated dancing, drumming, and African music! You are spoilt by spell-bounding music!  African original musical instruments and rhythmic beats of live African music and dance!  It’s lively, it’s loud and you leave invigorated! If you want to experience a true African cultural experience this is it!  Do not look further book now!

Coupled with, Moroccan tagines to South African bobotie. To point out, each dish is a masterpiece crafted with passion and expertise.

It was so hard to choose a favourite, but if I must, it was the Malawian Kandolo Balls!  Scrumptious!  And the Tanzanian Fish and Prawn Masala Curry!  This food is finger-licking good!  However, the Congo Mango and Lime chicken was packed with flavour!  That you can sap up with Xhosa Cornbread! Luckily, Vegetarian and vegan options are also available, ensuring there’s something for everyone to savour.  For one thing, you are guaranteed something sweet.  Cameroon Orange and Walnut cake drizzled with sweet dipping sauce!  It was so yummy!

Entertainment:

Additionally, the enthralling entertainment presented with your dinner at Gold Restaurant is one of the best parts about going there. Performers display traditional African dance and music throughout the evening. Keeping audiences entertained with their ability and intensity. The hypnotic display will take your eating experience to the next level. The energy of the dancing just keeps you wanting more and more. I love their traditional outfits, beads, and headgear! Uniquely, it’s something to see!

Without question, it’s an immersive cultural experience that will leave a lasting impression.  Don’t forget to take your camera.  Walk around the restaurant, and look at the décor, murals, and incredible brightly coloured African décor!  It’s an experience. I would not take any children under 12.  It’s busy!  Be prepared, there is nothing intimate about this magical experience. It’s not fine dining, but the food is wholesome and tasty and you do not need to stop by MacDonalds after its 14 courses.
