Next, the lodge’s unusual architecture was admired. Round brick buildings were arranged in a whimsical pattern, each shaped with soft curves instead of sharp edges. Furthermore, the main dining area was explored with delight. Views spilled out across the sweeping Mara plains. The space was designed to let the landscape take the lead. Long tables were placed strategically to face the view. Warm colors echoed the Kenyan sunset.

A sense of awe was felt immediately, and I was completely lost in this room while looking through the exceptional photographs that had been taken on safari.

Finally, after so many prayers, I got to stand on the legendary hilltop —the iconic place where Meryl Streep and the late Robert Redford enjoyed their famous picnic in Out of Africa. Here, I took in the mesmerizing Maasai warriors moving in rhythmic celebration. Their shukas fluttered in the wind. Not to mention, their chants echoed across the valley.

A sense of history enveloped the moment. A feeling of romance and nostalgia was stirred. The land felt alive with stories.

A Love Letter to the Mara

In conclusion, I can honestly say Angama Mara has heart, soul, and passion. Above all, this lodge lifts your heart. It stirs the spirit. Without a doubt, it welcomes every traveler with romance and majesty. Honestly, I felt like I was suspended between heaven and earth. Angama Mara is a Wildlife Lover’s Dream!
