My Top Cape Town 5-Star Hotels
Cape Town, with its breathtaking landscapes, vibrant culture, and 5-star hotels. The Mother City has just been named the second-best city to visit by Time Out.
Among cities like New York, the mother city is a destination that captivates the hearts of travellers. In other words, you’re seeking a luxurious escape, a romantic getaway, or a cultural adventure. Cape Town boasts an array of hotels that cater to diverse tastes.
I would love to share my top 5-star hotels in Cape Town, offering a unique blend of opulence, comfort, and distinctive experiences.
Camissa House
This amazing space is another one of my favourites! Taking its name from the gentle streams that have meandered through the grounds for generations, Camissa House is more than simply a boutique hotel; it is a sanctuary of tranquillity, overflowing with joy and the rediscovery of one’s senses.
The Silo Hotel:
Set in a grain silo complex at the V&A Waterfront, The Silo Hotel stands as a beacon of luxury. With its avant-garde design, opulent rooms, and panoramic views of Table Mountain, it’s a masterpiece that seamlessly blends history and modern elegance. The rooftop is a rare find! It’s the perfect place to enjoy a hot summer late afternoon in the Mother City. Sip on your cocktail overlooking Table Mountain in a rooftop pool. Is there anything better?
Ellerman House:
With panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean Ellerman House is a refined boutique hotel renowned for its world-class art collection. Located in in Bantry Bay. Here you will find impeccable service and an intimate atmosphere. Guests can savour gourmet cuisine while enjoying breathtaking ocean views. I love visiting Ellerman House as there is so much to do, from sitting on your balcony, sipping a cocktail, to viewing the incredible art they showcase in the house. Finally, you can sneak to the 24-hour pantry for a bite to eat! Everything about this hotel is just perfection!
Queen Victoria Hotel
Location, location and location, this hotel is perfect for the couple that wants to be in the middle of everything. And still, enjoy the 5-star lush experience. The Queen Victoria Hotel is a funky, yet elegant small boutique hotel within walking distance from the V & A Waterfront. In addition, they have a swimming pool to chill at. With yummy cocktails. Trust me, I know this!
Tintswalo Atlantic:
Uniquely, you will find yourself, on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean. Tintswalo Atlantic is a hidden gem offering exclusive and intimate accommodation. Similarly, each suite has its unique design, and the restaurant provides a culinary journey with unparalleled sea views. It’s set in SANPARKS so you have incredible nature around you. And of course, the opportunity to see whales, seals and pods of dolphins. Another hidden gem.
Belmond Mount Nelson Hotel:
This hotel reminds me of Dame Judi Dench, timeless. For this reason, a pink oasis at the foot of Table Mountain, the Belmond Mount Nelson Hotel is an iconic landmark. Additionally, you get happy service; drop dead décor and you are taken care of effortlessly. Known for its timeless elegance, lush gardens, and renowned afternoon tea, it’s a haven of tranquillity in the heart of the city. This has to be one of my personal all-time favourites and my go-to in suggestions for a Cape Town 5-star experience.
Labotessa Boutique Hotel
It only takes a short hop from the lush, fruitful walkways of the Company’s Garden to Church Square. With its old cathedrals and symbolic churches, as well as a wide range of cultural excursions. And historical museums and galleries on every corner. Given these points, Labotessa draws on its roots in a very special part of the Mother City. If you and your travelling friends want to get away from the busy city, this is the perfect spot for you! Without a doubt, this beautifully appointed gem has exceptional décor, service, and ambience!
Twelve Apostles
The Twelve Apostles Hotel and Spa is a place to rest your head at the end of Africa. It is perched above the ocean in the shadow of South Africa’s most famous mountain range. The boutique Twelve Apostles Hotel is on the beautiful coastal road that connects Cape Town and Camps Bay. It’s the perfect spot to watch the sun go down over the Atlantic. Eat delicious international fine dining food, relax in the award-winning spa, or just take it easy and enjoy the friendly, first-class service. What do you think about my personal Cape Town 5-star hotels?
To summarise, planning your visit to Cape Town isn’t easy as you have so much to choose from. Remember to consider immersing yourself in the hospitality and luxury that these top Cape Town 5-star hotels have to offer. Finally, each Hotel promises a unique experience, ensuring your stay in the Mother City is nothing short of extraordinary.
