I highly recommend this experience! I was really taken back by the breathtaking views and exquisite cuisine. The Outlook Deck restaurant is a must-visit destination for anyone who visits Victoria Falls.  I was luckily enough to have lunch and it really was a memorable dining experience.

Decor:

The restaurant itself exudes elegance and sophistication. The minimalist design and natural materials blend seamlessly with the surroundings, creating a harmonious African space. The deck is spacious, allowing you your meal while you watch the beauty of the gorge.  I loved this vantage point as I saw so many massive birds. Including a pair of White backed Vultures.  

Food:

The Outlook Deck Restaurant is a delight for food enthusiasts, it has a great menu.  Showcasing the flavors of the local ingredients. From fresh African-inspired salads to succulent grilled meats and seafood, every dish is a masterpiece.

Without a doubt, one of the standout dishes at the restaurant is their signature Zambezi Bream. This fish, caught from the river just a stone’s throw away. The way its prepared, to the spices that come with such flavours. The combination of the fresh fish and the panoramic view creates an unforgettable dining experience. It was mouthwatering.

No to mention, the friendly sommeliers have the gift of the gab. They are very knowledgeable and passionate about wine.   I found the service, incredible.

Of course, the most important thing to note. Try book for lunch, so you can watch the crazy adventurous people that bungee jump off the bridge, zipline across and swing over the Gorge. It’s great fun! And you can see so much more during the day!
