Exploring Old Phuket Town Street Art
Phuket, the largest island in Thailand is primarily known for its pristine beaches, crystal-clear waters, and vibrant nightlife. Phuket beachfront is too crowded for me. There are too many tourists misbehaving and getting drunk. It’s a great education to see it once, but that’s enough for me.
Old Phuket Town:
With this in mind, the island’s cultural capital, Old Phuket Town, offers a treasure trove of mesmerizing street art. I have found that often goes unnoticed by tourists flocking to the popular seaside destinations. For art enthusiasts and those seeking something beyond the typical beach experience. Exploring the captivating world of Old Phuket Town’s Street art is a must.

Coffee in Old Phuket Town:
Surprisingly, Old Phuket Town has many coffee shops, coffee is enormous there! Brought in by the Farangs! As I don’t do coffee, I stopped at many really beautiful cafes for fresh juices, iced teas, and little rests! The creativity is enchanting!
Over the top walls of plastic flowers, ceilings of umbrellas, and neon signage. Almost a competition. Particularly, the younger crowd, with their selfie sticks creating Instagram and TikTok reels. It’s fascinating to watch! Oh, and on the positive side, try the coconut ice Cream! It’s to die for!

Another key point to note, is you have a few foot massage places to stop into, just to give those old feet a little rub and rejuvenate! Especially, for more walking and exploring! We found Mandy’s Massage the most professional. I even fell asleep and snored myself awake at one point! Indeed, a funny memory, that we will laugh at in times to come.
