Singita’s Explorer’s Camp

Singita’s Explorer’s Camp

Singita’s Explorers Camp

Where It Is Found

Singita Explore Camp is located in the breathtaking Grumeti Reserve of northern Tanzania, a privately managed concession that borders the legendary Serengeti National Park. As I arrived, I was immediately surrounded by the sweeping savannahs, ancient acacia woodlands, and the untouched wilderness that makes a Safari in Tanzania so extraordinary. This remote setting, protected by Singita, allowed every moment to feel immersed in the rhythms of the wild.

How Many Rooms?

Up to six beautifully crafted one-bedroom tents were set up just for my group—each positioned to echo the natural textures and muted tones of the landscape. Designed intentionally for private use, the entire camp was configured based on our family’s needs, which made it feel as though the Serengeti had been reserved solely for us. Although it was a true “roughing-it-in-great-style” experience, every tent still offered discreet touches of comfort—campaign furniture, soft canvas, leather details, and intuitive service synonymous with Singita’s luxury safari philosophy.

What Activities You Can Experience at the Camp

Throughout our stay, the sense of adventure was elevated by how close to nature we were. In the evenings, dinners were prepared under the stars. Where the crackle of the fire and the distant sounds of wildlife.  Without a doubt, create an atmosphere that felt both wild and luxurious. Sleeping under canvas brought the Serengeti to life.  In an entirely new way—every rustle, birdsong, and distant roar was a reminder of the raw beauty surrounding us.

During the day, a refreshing plunge pool offered relief from the African heat.  While, exploring the Grumeti on game drives across allowed us to witness some of the most dramatic wildlife encounters imaginable. Because the camp sits in a concession managed exclusively by Singita.  Additionally, the safari routes felt wonderfully private. Above all, guided bush walks were offered. Giving our adventurous family the chance to track animals on foot. Learning more about the ecosystem from expert guides.

As a travel blogger experiencing a luxury family safari in Tanzania.  Singita Explore in the Grumeti felt like the perfect blend of adventure and indulgence.  Uniquely, I would say this is a rare opportunity to feel completely connected to the earth.

Whilst, still wrapped in the quiet elegance that Singita is celebrated for.
